Wiley Creek group campsite is an great spot about 5 miles past the Verlot Range station on the Mt Loop Highway. It has old-growth Douglas Fir and nice swimming hole at certain times of the year. It also has a significant amount of Violet cortinarius mycelium for those looking to find purple mushrooms. Wiley Creek is also a great spot to explore local hikes like Mt Pilchuck, Lake 22 and fishing holes on the south for Stillaguamish river
