For many reasons Shi Shi is an easy “10” rating. It is truly beach camping at its finest. An incredible ocean front beach with mesmerizing views of sea stacks that draw you in for adventure. There is plenty of room to spread your wings but this is a 4.4+ mile muddy hike through the forest just to get to the beach with no services. Additionally you will want to pick up a visitor pass from the Makah nation and you also need to find a local private parking spot as you cannot park overnight at the trailhead. There is creek water down the beach a ways but you may want to bring your own source as well. You can’t go wrong with Shi Shi.
