Heading East from Seattle take exit 47 off of I-90 to find Denny Creek Campground. A US Forest Service campground with all the services you need for a fun family camping experience. Water, toilets, maintained campsites and even electricity can be found here. Denny Creek is a great basecamp for a lot of recreation including the popular Franklin falls, Granite Peak Lookout, Denny Creek Trail and access to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. It is kind of close to the freeway since it sits in between northbound and southbound I-90 but with all the hiking options its surely worth a visit during the summer months.
