You will find better services and more formal campsites at the Tinkham Campground but if you are looking for free camping, near the south fork Snoqualmie and you want to get out of the city and to your spot quickly, then Tinkham Road could be the place for you. Its Dispersed Camping and sometimes very popular do to its easy access from I-90. It has great access to recreation and hikes like McClellan Butte. It also makes for a great base camp if you are heading up to the Hanson Creek Crystal mines further down the road.
